S1 - Old World Puppet Theater

Create a beautiful Old World Puppet Theater. Included are two of Judy Orr's handmade puppets that she will make for you.
List of Supplies A basic toolkit, including: A sharp Exacto knife, A Small Ruler, A Mini Square (Micromark catalog), Fine Sanding paper, 1 Emery board, Tacky Glue in a fine tipped applicator, Pre-mixed Wallpaper Paste, 2 paint brushes..1 fine tip (18-0) and 1 small square end brush. Both should be the fine hair variety (sable is the best), Water cup for cleaning your brush, Sharp, fine tipped scissors for Paper Cutting, Fabric Scissors (small size would be the easiest)

S2 - Christmas Swag or Teardrop

Each student will have the opportunity to create either a horizontal or teardrop swag in a richly decorated cream and gold elegance. The student will learn how to hand dye a subtle variegated silk ribbon bow as the centerpiece of this lovely creation. They will also hand cut, create, tint, and detail two kinds of flowers. They will embellish handmade birds and and hand cut butterflies with vintage lace, seed pearls, rhinestones, feathers, etc. Students will paint and antique a plethora of other ornaments that will add rich texture to their swag. Extra greenery and leaves will give the finishing touch to this lovely holiday piece.

S3 - Chocolates

Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. In this class, we’ll be using air dry clay, chalk, paints, etc., to make all kinds of chocolate goodies including a chocolate fountain with several dippers (bananas, cherries, brownies, French bread and grapes), a chocolate torte with raspberry mousse, nutty chocolate brownies, cheesecake with a chocolate drizzle and chocolate cakes (including German chocolate cake.) Some components of this class include polymer clay, but the polymer clay work will be done for you ahead of time due to time constraints from the class. Pans and bowls included.
Basic tool box including ultimate or tacky glue, tweezers, double stick tape, small brushes, magnifier.

S4 - LED Lighting 101

The participant will spend 2 hours learning about LED lighting using 3 volt, 6-9 volt battery system and 12 volt AC systems with a transformer. There will be instruction on combining LED and incandescent lighting using both in one display, house or vignette.
Kit Includes: 1. Framed Vignette with wood pine frame. Box: 8" wide x 51/2" H x 3 1/2” D Frame: 91/2" W x 71/2" " 2. Interior parts to include textured patio flooring, faux brick walls, graphic background (three choices), awning, colored or white string lights (8 lights) window on one wall with a kitchen or living room scene. 3. S5 - Painting Mexican Pottery

Learn to paint miniature Mexican pottery with basic paint techniques. Discover colors that make Mexican folk pottery unique to the area. You will be taught techniques with tooth picks and wire that will give detail to an artist piece with precision. Teacher will provide reference, pottery and supplies.
