2020 WORKSHOPS 

Workshops are a fun way to complete a project and get to know people.
 
All classes will be held on Sunday, February 9th, 2020.

corner room

​Presenting a corner room for wallpapering or electrifying: $165.
​Full day: 9 am - 5 pm
4-6 students only

The class will learn basic wiring and dollhouse building skills:
  1. Tapewire and hardwire installation, soldering
  2. Wallpaper, baseboard, and flooring installation

What we provide:
  1. Three sided box with angled false wall
  2. Window for the false wall
  3. Picture for the area behind the window
  4. Lighting for the picture and 2 sconces for the walls
  5. Transformer, tapewire, and hardwire
  6. Wallpaper, baseboard, and flooring
  7. Soldering Iron (for use and available for purchase +$60)

What the students need to bring:
       Standard toolbox – exacto knife, cutting matt, ruler, tweezers, etc

Optional items:
     Students can add plugs at $6 each
     Students can add a sconce for $20 each
     Students can add Thunder and Lightning at $150

embellishing hats

​
Students will be provided a bust to work on while in the class. Each student will be given a variety of embellishments to decorate their hat and offered guidance while making an original. Each student will make at least one hat. Demos of how to make a hat form will be shown if students wish. One hat form of the student's choice will be given. Students can choose a leather, silk taffeta or silk velvet form. Students will be given a hat stand to place their creation on at class end. 

Tools needed: sharp, pointed small scissors, grip glue, and fine applicator bottle.
